When Big Things Are Happening (Maybe?)

Hi there!

I wanted to say that I know I haven’t been posting as much. And, with as much as my witticisms brighten your day, I know you’ve been feeling it with much pain and regret.

However! (Potentially) Big Things are happening over here!

(And, no, I’m not pregnant, as were my mother’s and great aunt’s first guesses. Also, pray for my Great Aunt Diane, if y’all would. She’s having shoulder-replacement surgery today. Ouch.)

I can’t quite tell you about the Big Things yet, but I’m so close.

And, because of these Big Things, my brain is running on overdrive in about 27 directions at all times. I’m a planner in the full sense of the word (i.e. struggles with needing control), so I’m champing at the bit to put some plans into action. But, once again, what can a girl do when God (clearly) tells her to wait?

You wait. And wait. And wait, wait, wait!

(And maybe pray, pray, pray as well.)

So, in the end, Big Things are probably happening. Or maybe they’re not. Only God knows the end of this tale, so I’ll keep you posted once He gives me a sneak peek over the page turn.

Currently Reading:
Lilac Girls by Martha Hall Kelly – This is my current book club read. While WWII isn’t my favorite literary (or historical) time period, it seems to be very popular right now. The time period can get a bit gruesome for me, so we’ll see how this book goes. I’ve only heard good things.
The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo – I’m more than halfway through, but as it’s an audiobook, my car time is not always my own. Also, my children have discovered an affinity for the Baby Shark song, and this greatly impinges on my book-listening time.
